GOALS AND GUIDELINESCADDO WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
“Everywhere WMA’s have formed, neighbors have agreed to join in and participate. Most folks believe that wildlife and habitat are important in their lives, for their children, grandchildren, and for future generations.“
Robert Lehmann TPWD
The proper management and control of the wildlife population is beneficial to man by providing improved quality animals for hunting and for coordinating agricultural uses and nature. Proper management also benefits whitetail deer by culling genetically inferior animals, by controlling population, and manipulating habitat to provide for healthier animals. To properly manage a Wildlife Management Program, it is important to manage large areas of contiguous land. Therefore, the undersigned landowners and/or operators do create a wildlife management organization known as the Caddo Wildlife Management Association (The Association).
